How do I book my Taos vacation rental at the Taos Villas?

What amenities can I expect from the Taos Villas? What do I need to bring?
When choosing a Taos vacation rental, it’s important to know what amenities to expect. Our aim is to provide all the amenities you could wish for, to make your Taos vacation lodging feel like your home away from home…. so you will only need to bring items that are particularly specific to your needs.

BASIC SUPPLIES
We hope you will find your accommodation clean, comfortable and well-stocked with necessities (sheets, towels, soap, toilet paper) upon arrival. You should also find your accommodation stocked with a few other basic consumables (garbage bags, dish soap, basic cleaning solutions) for your stay. We also offer a small toiletry amenities kit per guest, including shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. In the kitchen, you will find a coffee “starter” kit, including individual 4-cup coffee pods for the drip coffee maker, powdered creamers, a variety of sweeteners and a selection of teas. You will also find some bottled water….. and perhaps even a bit of bubbly to get your Taos Vacation off to a festive start!

KITCHEN

We hope you will find the fully-equipped kitchen to your satisfaction. Each Taos Villa kitchen includes a stainless steel refrigerator, dishwasher, and a gas stove and oven. Small kitchen appliances include a microwave, coffee maker, toaster and blender. Pots and pans, dishware, utensils, and kitchen gadgets are in plentiful supply at this Taos vacation rental.

LAUNDRY

Washers and dryers are housed in each Taos Villa, as well as iron and ironing board, plus some starter laundry soap.

FIREPLACE

There is a working, wood-burning kiva fireplace in the living area of each Taos Villa, with firewood provided. We find this to be one of the most popular amenities of this particular Taos vacation rental property. Villas 6 and 9 offer a second fireplace on each of their private balconies.

COURTYARD

There is at least one private, walled patio off each Taos Villa. Your individual patio(s) provides a relaxing place to have some coffee or a cocktail in a beautifully-landscaped extension of the Villa. Seating arrangements vary by each particular Villa but generally include a conversation area and an alfresco dining option. We have found that outdoor grilling is a favorite pastime of many of our Taos vacationers, so we provide a gas grill, grilling tools and propane provided for each individual Villa within its private courtyard. Villas 6 and 9 offer furnished balconies with secondary fireplaces as well.

PARKING

Each Taos Villas lodging rental includes two parking spaces, regardless of the number of guests on the reservation. Depending on which vacation rental Villa is chosen, the parking spaces may be any combination of garage, carport and / or open space. These parking spots will accommodate most vehicles, however, we have found that larger trucks and SUVs tend to stick out blocking the way for other traffic.  If you are bringing more than 2 vehicles and/or larger trucks and SUVs, let us know and we can suggest alternate options for this vehicle(s). If you require an additional parking space and we are able to accommodate more than two vehicles per rental, we will make every attempt to do so, but this cannot generally be determined in advance as it will depend on the overall bookings of the other Taos Villas during the dates of your stay.

If I prefer not to drive everywhere, what is there to do within walking distance of the Taos Villas?
For many guests, it’s important to find a Taos vacation rental in a convenient location for all the activities in which they wish to partake, and that allows them to park their car at “home” and walk to many activities. If that describes what you’re looking for in your Taos vacation accommodations, then the Taos Villas is in an ideal location to offer that flexibility. Within walking distance there are:

  • dozens of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and breweries
  • art galleries
  • spas and salons
  • shopping
  • bus transfer to the ski valley (winter-months only)
  • farmers market (Saturdays, summer months only)
  • concerts and movies in the park (summer months only)
