MILLICENT ROGERS MUSEUM
Millicent Rogers’ son established the Millicent Rogers Museum as a memorial to his late mother’s memory. It showcases the arts of the southwest that had enthralled Millicent and includes her private collection of art, jewelry, and weavings, assembled during her lifetime.

Nurturing the development of local artists, the foundation of the Taos Art Museum’s collection is based in works by the Taos Society of Artists, with nearly all of its members and associate members represented there.

Colorful character Ed Sandoval can often be seen creating his masterpieces in the parking lot in front of his gallery at the entrance to the Taos Plaza. His “El Viejito” (old man) motif makes an appearance in many of his works.
